17th April 2004 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 15 - 20 Surf / Sea State: flat'ish Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wasn't realy expecting a lot today but went up to brog anyway to get out of the way(decorating happing at home) There was a few stronger gust coming through so went out on 8.5 and 150 lt board, felt huge not rigged 8.5 sail since february. Had a few runs on and off the plane came back in for a rest. The wind then filled in went back out and was quite over powered at times some times very! For a time was considering changed down to 7.0 but there was a few lulls in it and just blasted through them on the 8.5 and held on for grim death in the gusts. Managed some really nice gybes today with all the high wind stuff this year been doing a lot of bank to bank and not many gybes. Overal a good day wasn't really expecting to get on the water today |
